Ulisha Fraser Reese is a 3rd year Ph.D. student in Counseling Education and Supervision at North Carolina A&T State University. Her primary research interests are in health disparities, mental health, and mental health services. Through her research she hopes to make a significant impact by increasing clinical awareness, developing strategies and programs, and eventually contributing to better health outcomes among ethnic-racial minority communities. Ulisha believes life is a continuous journey, so in her leisure time she enjoys going on adventures from traveling to different countries, observing new cultures or simply exploring local greenways.
