Tina Ahmadi

Tina is a third-year Ph.D. student in Educational Psychology at Ball State University, pursuing a cognate in Research Methods and Statistics. Her research interests include restorative practices, classroom observation methods/protocols, and second language development. She currently spends the majority of her time learning from a group of incredible teachers and school leaders via conversations, semi-structured interviews and classroom observations and is passionate about continuing work that directly serves K-12 schools. Prior to her Ph.D. studies, she taught high school science, and teaching remains among her favorite activities. Outside of academic pursuits, Tina enjoys hiking, reading, studying new languages, cooking, and spending time with her husband (Peter) and their furry baby (a 6-year-old Maltese named Shina).
